Eirian qualified as a Solicitor in 1990.

He has a wide ranging experience of litigation and has acted and continues to act for a variety of businesses and individuals, both Claimant and Defendant, to include insurance companies, loss adjusters and one major Telecommunications PLC. He is head of the personal injury department and part of the firm's management team.

Since qualifying, Eirian has specialised in Defendant personal injury claims and has dealt with high value complex cases on behalf of insurance companies and loss adjusters.

Eirian is responsible for the supervision of the team of specialist personal injury fee earners, for the continued development of the litigation department's case management system and for ensuring the effectiveness of service delivery.

Salvatore qualifed as a Solicitor in 1978.

He has worked in private practice since 1976 and is a founder partner of Rausa Mumford, which began in 1985. He has a wide ranging experience of all aspects of personal injury, including employer and public liability, motor and fatalities for both Defendants and Claimants.

He has acted for both insurance companies and Trades Unions and private clients.

He often gives advice and assistance on a pro bono basis when called upon.

He is Managing Partner.

Peter qualified as a Solicitor in l989.

He has a wide-ranging experience of both commercial litigation and all aspects of personal injury litigation. In the area of personal injury his key fields are employer and public liability, having successfully taken an occupiers liability dispute to the Court of Appeal for an insurer client on a case which is now regularly cited.

In the area of commercial litigation, he has acted for private clients in all manner of complex contractual disputes as well as in matters of public policy. He was involved in the newsworthy Staffordshire litigation, which concerned the involvement of management companies within the police scheme of the removal of abandoned vehicles, which was successfully resolved via mediation but acted as a necessary catalyst for change.

Peter has a Masters Degree in Insurance & Contractual Law and has spent a period as a Senior Lecturer in Nottingham Trent University. His academic background has proved useful in assisting insurance clients with complex issues of policy, indemnity and contract law.

Martyn qualified as a Solicitor in l979 and became a partner with Leo Abse & Cohen before joining Rausa Mumford in 1993.

He specialises in criminal litigation, both as an advocate and an administrator. He is the firm's Franchise Manager, liaising with the Legal Services Commission.

He has served on many committees in the principality, including the Cardiff Law Society and Criminal Sub-committee, the Area Duty Solicitor Committee and the Court Users Committee.

He was one of the founder members of the Statutory Duty Solicitor Scheme for Cardiff.

As part of the Management Team for the firm, Martyn often chairs the Audit Group for the Criminal Litigation Contract.

He has been a key figure in Road Traffic and Health & Safety cases for the past two decades, being involved in many high profile cases.

Simon qualified as a Solicitor in l981 and became a partner with the firm in l985.

He is part of the firm's Management Team, dealing specifically with Human Resources (he qualified as a Personnel Manager (GIPM) graduating from the University of Glamorgan in l980) and Customer Relations (he was the Local Conciliation Officer for the National Law Society for thirteen years).

He specialises in criminal litigation , Court Martials (he is a serving officer in the Territorial Army) and Mental Health (he is a panel member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal of the Law Society, and was a Mental Health Act Commissioner from l989 to l994).

He teaches Law at the University of Wales in Cardiff Professional Development Unit, and is a founder member of the University Test Board and regularly examines in Cardiff, London, York and Manchester.

Simon retired as the National Law Society Council member for the South Wales constituency in 2006, having been elected in l997. He was also President of the Incorporated Law Society for Cardiff and District for the year 2005/2006 (having been their Honorary Secretary for thirteen years). He has also just been elected to the post of Chairman of the Confederation of South Wales Law Societies.

A qualified Mediator, Simon is the Chairman of the Mediating Works Ltd. Company in London.

He writes extensively for legal journals and has a regular column in Legal News (the Welsh legal magazine).

Appointed on merit as a Higher Court Advocate in l995, he regularly appears in jury trials at the Crown Court.

He has served on numerous national committees, including the Law Society Bursary Committee (chair for three years), Training, Scrutiny, Criminal, and he sits on the Higher Courts Advocacy Appeals Committee at Chancery Lane.

He has also presented radio and TV programmes for BBC Wales.

Susan qualified as a Solicitor in l985, becoming an Associate with Morgan Cole Solicitors in l990, and a Partner with L. G. Williams & Prichard Solicitors in 2001, before joining Rausa Mumford in 2006.

She specialises in non-contentious work, including Commercial Property, Probate and Wills and Charitable Trust work. She is a member of the executive committee of the Conference of Solicitors acting for Catholic Charities which produces a twice yearly newsletter and arranges a biennial conference for Solicitors and other advisers acting for Catholic charities.

She is head of the Conveyancing and Probate Department and responsible for the continued development of the firm's computer systems and with a view to obtaining the Lexcel accreditation.
